My start in the music business began at Doug Sax’s audiophile record label Sheffield Lab Recording. I worked entering orders into the computer system and generating picking tickets for shipping. A year later, I was in charge of coordinating everything on the production side of the label, from the recording session to manufacturing. I’ve worked for The Smithsonian Center for Folklife, edited a nationally syndicated radio show, worked in a remote recording truck, and have produced several records of acoustic guitar music for recording artist Peter Jason. I’ve been nominated for a Grammy (Best Engineered Album), I hold a degree in music, (classical piano / theory) and have mastered records spanning all genre of music, including artists such as Garth Brooks, Skid Row, Joan Osborne, Janis Ian, John Prine, George Strait, Trisha Yearwood, Willie Nelson, JJ Cale, John Wait, Ted Nugent, Tony Joe White, and many more.
